Rats ! Anybody have rats? I got my first ones about 2 weeks ago from the SPCA. I'm very impressed. They're now even toilet trained. They're still quite skittish ie: run away at sudden movements and dont really like to be held but thats cool. At least they don't bite. http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0885.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0890.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0891.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0892.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0893.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0894.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0899.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0900.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0901.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0902.jpg http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/a...d/IMG_0906.jpg |
haha how does your dog feel? |
The dog isn't too impressed. I think its worried its getting displaced. |
Very cool. Which SPCA did you get them from ? I know Richmond had two that were very friendly, and Vancouver had a litter of 12 plus mom. Mom wasn't that into being handled, the babies were pretty friendly though. |
I got mom and daughter from the Vancouver SPCA. The males were on loan that day. I'm thinking of setting up a second cage and connecting them up with a pipe. I take back the toilet training part. I left the cage open last night so they can play outside on the window ledge while I slept. I read they're supposed to be nocturnal. There were about 4 droppings and a small trail of piss. No biggie, the ledge is granite. I think they might do that to find their way back to their cage. |
