codec problem when viewing mkv I have some sort of codec problem when viewing a .mkv file the voices of the people are very quiet, almost can't hear them. The other sounds like sfx work fine. How can i fix this? (avi files sound fine) |
give VLC a try |
same problem i use both VLC and WMplayer classic |
hmm weird because I constantly download mkv files and VLC has never been a problem for me in terms of audio. Only problem I get is when I try to fast forward MKV's it will lag a bit before forwarding. |
Uninstall all your codecs, and install just ffdshow. |
or just looking into your PC's sound setting, you might have WAVE on low |
use cccp insurgent to uninstall all codec and filters on your computer. then install cccp while making sure you dont change from the default settings. try playing it now and you should get better sound/performance. |
