I don't get it...iding power 460 GT only gets 508hp? and it's 5sec ahead of the modded 996 turbo?

Thanks. Entertaining. The GT-R loses out in all the straights.

What mods to the F430 and 996TT?

Kev

Manthey M700 (996 Turbo)

Manthey Motors, having their headquarter at the Nurburgring, has released a road going
version of the Vitaphone Racing 996 GT2 which has set a new benchmark in the VLN series, a 8:16.71 in race trim.

The M700 comes with a 3.6 liters bi-turbo falt-6 engine, 695 hp and 800 Nm and the 4WD of the two years old Porsche 993 Turbo. The Le Mans wide body is 100 mms wider and 40 mms longer than the serial 993 but 150 kgs lighter due to carbon doors and hoods. The curb weight including fuel is just about 1416 kg, weight-to-power ration comes down to just 2.0 kg/hp.

0-100 kph (0- 60 mph) 3.9 secs.
0-160 kph (0-100 mph) 7.0 secs.
0.200 kph (0-125 mph) 10.0 secs.

Vmax = 348 kph (217 mph)

Iding Power F460GT (F430)

With more power and even more aggressive aerodynamics than the factory-built 430 Scuderia, IDING Power's new F460GT offers a new take on a super-performing F430 variant. Boring out the engine and replacing stock parts with carbon fiber are the primary modes of improvement.

As the name suggests, the F460GT increases upon the standard 4.3L displacement of the F430's V8 engine by 0.3L bringing it to 4.6L. That increase in size along with the inclusion of some bolt-on parts brings power up to 508hp (379kW) and 353lb-ft (479Nm) of torque.

The power upgrade is enough to send the F460GT to 62mph (100km/h) in 3.8 seconds, complete the 1/4mile (400m) in 11.7 seconds, and run the standing kilometer (0.62mi) in 20.9 seconds. Top speed is above 199mph (320km/h) according to IDING Power.

The bolt-on additions include a full exhaust and a carbon fiber intake. Other essential elements of the F460GT include unique springs and dampers, a full 12-piece aerodynamic body kit, magnesium forged wheels and carbon-ceramic brake rotors. All cars come with a unique identifier plate and serial number marking them as part of the limited-edition conversion.

Optional components include a new navigation system, carbon fiber interior decorative elements, a selection of 'RS-style' rear wings, and upgraded steel brake rotors instead of the more expensive carbon-ceramic.

I think it's because of the area under the curve..

4.6L NA vs 3.6 Turbo

The Exige is really out of place.

They should've used the a R8 v10 if they could've gotten one. That would be a much better comparison.
