Wireless card

Hey guys,

I recently bought a desktop computer without a wireless card. Now I know there are the wireless usb drives or the pci one that you stick inside the computer. What I want to know is which is more stable? Also, does it matter which brand I could for? There are a bunch of different ones out there but I don't need to drop a fortune on it.
Pricewise, I'd rather go with the pci wireless card because they're dirt cheap.

Thanks

for me my video cards pretty much block all of the pci slots in my computer
there is one left but since there is two videocards in my system it will heat up my wireless so i went and bought a usb one since todays motherboards come with a billion usb ports that you can never use up

why are you running wireless to a desktop?.... cable is better.

sometimes you just can't run cable into another place

Both should be the same but the USB is easier to install and move to another computer.

Use PCI slot --> when you have a large antenna attached to it.

Use USB --> 1) you can take it out easily 2) you can extend it with a USB extension cable to receive better signal 3) you can easily see if the device is powered up

any recommendations for n-draft usb ones? which ones provide a good range? any brands that should be avoided?

PCI would be better in my opinion. USB sometimes fail on me and I would have to restart to get it working again.
