Brother's friend? thanks for your opinions! :werd: |
Good place to start would be to ask how hold are you? If youre in your teens, and the other guy is 5-7 years older, then its understandable that your brother said no. |
OP clearly stated she is now of legal age. talk to your brother about it he is either fine iwth it or isnt, same with the friend. some people prefer to not go there at all even if the brother is okay with it |
stay friends with that person, let things fall in place, dont try and force anything let your bro know of everything, your intentions, etc, he will probably still disapprove |

Also, my friends mentioned my bro might just be protective of me cuz maybe he thinks I don't know what I'm doing or saying no so I won't feel bad about getting rejected...but I don't mind really... I would rather have tried and failed then not tried at all and constantly wonder "what if".. |

this is just a thought that ran by me. not saying it's true or what not. but a possibility. if your brother is trying to protect you, maybe he feels he has good reason to. he sees/knows this friend of his way better than you do so maybe he sees something bad with him that others can't. regardless of the great friendship at the end of the day you are the sister, he is the friend. who's best interest is he going to look out for? but yeah, the best option would be to just ask your brother asap. why waste anymore time questioning? |
Think of Ross when he discovered Monica was dating Chandler. |
but Chandler has a clean record, doesnt he? |
