my favourite frankenstein type of car was the elise with a type r motor in the back.

or the hyundai with a 2 engines. iirc they were turbo'd too.

Some guy in the okanogan has an older accord (the one that looks similar to an ae86) where he made it MR.. just moved the motor and tranny out back, gas tank up front... looks a bit ghetto, but it works and the guy drifts it...

totally different car from the one the op posted
i followed the guy "racecity" on hondatech while he built it, for 3.5 years

it is very well engineered and the fit and finish is very close to oe, its an h22 motor and tranny slightly forwards of the rear axle line, the suspention geometry had alot of care taken to be done properly and is simply the most complete rwd converted honda anywhere

the one in the video simply uses a beefed up crv transmission with the front axles out

Correct, I believe the one in the video was made by Braille Auto

it's a pretty sweet setup for how quickly he built it.
