Anyone who works for City of Vancouver?

Anyone who works for City of Vancouver (downtown core) or know the rules and regulations?

What are the permitted time for LOUD NOISE or VIBRATION commercial work in place during weekday? and weekend?

I usually have my work done on a weekend afternoon ( positive that is permitted ) but I couldn't remeber the exact time frame the work can be perform.

I can't find any info on the website.

i think 10am on saturdays...

you can do a search on the by law site. the very 1st noise by-law states you can go later, but i think it's been amended since 1989. b/c i think on the site i'm on we close on sundays.

if i recall correctly from school, within the allowed time, the noise level can not exceed 80dB.

Side note, if a parking sign says the 2 hour parking 9am-6pm then says except permit under it, does it mean that only people with permits can park there for 2 hours? or does it mean that if you don't have a permit you can only park there for 2 hours?

It means a regular joe bloe without a permit can park there for 2 hours during that timeframe and somebody with a permit can disregard that and park for as long as they want.
