computer problems

Lately I've noticed that, quite often my computer will become very slow. When I open the process panel in task manager it shows that the system is hoarding the CPU usage. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

you first need to find what is using 100% CPU.
take a look in the task manager, click processes tab and sort by CPU usage.

It's the "system" that is taking up most of the CPU usage.

Have you installed anything recently? Apps? Drivers? Games? etc.

boot into safe mode and see what happens there.

PS: What version of windows are you running?
