It was epic. I was confused at first when the Japanese clip of FF VIII came up...and then I did laughing when they jumped into the battle theme.
Awesome show, but the conductor is a total applausewhore.

very awesome show. all the clips made the show a lot more enjoyable. the ff8 battle scene at dollet field featuring dont be afraid, the chocobos from the various ff games and the ff8 laguna battles featuring man with the machine gun. all matched up so well!
yes the conductor, arnie roth, is a huge applausewhore. oh well. awesome show nonetheless. all the music were great. fisherman's horizon, liberi fatali and one winged angel. it was worth the money!

Sadly, I arrived late, but I agree, excellent show! It really took me back to my childhood. It fed my FF4, 6, and 7 appetite. One-winged Angel was a good way to close the night. My gf like it a lot, and she had never heard of Final Fantasy. The conductor was great. I probably could've chucked some stuff at you, Mana. I was at row 19 seat 40.

Yeah the conductor was a total attention whore. We were row 19 seat17. I actually didn't think the clips were timed very well and could have been done a lot better. The music was really good though. Definitely brings back memories.

I thought the first half was a lot better and the UBC Choir did a great job!
The guy in the long hair totally shocked me with his voice! Quote:

Dude with the long hair surprised me. I want to touch his hair now. It looks very soft and silky. I saw a few cosplayers..which frightened me a bit.
Loved the show though. Love the conductor despite the fact he's a total applausewhore.
Btw, saw you mananetwork. hahaha

Choir, dude. It was a Choir.
Row 8, seats 19/20.
Also: did anyone else notice the Witch Hunter Robin cosplayer in the centre of the violins?
