If you really don't mind getting a car made from the tears of 6 Million jews while trying to establish a 1000 year Reich which resulted in their defeat over the Southern Skies of Great Britain. Get the Mini

Otherwise get the WRX.

hahahahhaha

for the record, I'd get a WRX cuz I want to snowboard a lot more this year.

If I didn't board, I'd get the Mini.

Gh0stRider 08-02-2009 07:12 PM

is the wrx due for a new body style? seems like they change every 2 years.

J-Chow 08-02-2009 07:18 PM

I talked to one of the reps at the Richmond Subaru dealership. Nothing new is comin out till 2012.

But hell, it's Richmond Subaru so I don't believe a word they say

spenny 08-02-2009 08:49 PM

I'd get the Mini, unless AWD and space are really important to you.

Minata 08-02-2009 11:21 PM

i would prefer a guy to drive a wrx than a mini

124Y 08-03-2009 12:07 AM

^ Well maybe we'll all get used to it just like we got used to guys wearing pink shirts now a days...

elkayem 08-03-2009 04:52 AM

wrx

ilvtofu 08-03-2009 07:10 AM

Wow seems like its leaning towards wrx, but how about some reasons why the other guys?

Dinan3 08-03-2009 07:43 AM

I like the last gen mini cooper S better. The new one looks too girly and cute for me. I'd go for the WRX hatch or the last gen Mini.

Need I say more? lol

?NR 08-03-2009 10:39 AM

if you wait long enough you might get a choice at the awd Mini w/biase towards the rear wheels (by Getrag)

brute_4s 08-03-2009 10:50 AM

as a subaru owner i am favouring the subaru...the boxer engine is great until u have to change plugs or something...simple things take a lot longer

i still say get the subaru...better all around car imo

Mugen EvOlutioN 08-03-2009 11:24 AM

mini - a pussys car

roastpuff 08-03-2009 11:37 AM

Neither of these two - Pontiac G8 GT. :D

360hp ftw.

ilvtofu 08-03-2009 11:55 AM

G8 couldn't give me a deal on lease :(
they'd take a shitload off the price though like 5 or 6k
That cars resale value doesn't look promising either...

Lol Elkayem, didn't I post that video of the wrx?

go with the cooper s..dont forget to lower it..sorry for turning this into a pix thread!

Dinan3 08-03-2009 01:05 PM

^ As I said, old mini > new mini. Nice pics.

Anjew 08-03-2009 01:54 PM

well frankly... just test drive both....

They won't lease to you cuz there's not going to be any more Pontiac. How about buying the car outright? Factory rebate allowance is up to 7.5k, so if you can play hardball and bring it down to less than 30k for a loaded G8 GT you're golden!

Resale value on domestic's going to be meh, though... but I don't think Subies are all that hot either on resale. Mini's I don't know either.

ilvtofu 08-03-2009 02:53 PM

The fuel economy of the V8 GT is disappointing, real world would probably be >15L/100km in the city.

used rex's look good in resale value still worth above 50% after 4 or 5 years, which I guess would be decent especially in these times.
