So i think someone just fired a gun...
 

so i was sitting here by my window and i heard this car drive down the street under the lamp post by my house and then i heard this LOUD 'BANG'! and a really slight flash

i looked and i see this brown durango take off

freaked the shit outta me especially since my neighbours' daughter is like a drug user and she has dealers come by in the middle of the night to drop off drugs
and i overheard her dad screaming at her almost all the time and once mentioning her thuggy looking boyfriend just got out of jail and he doesnt want him around here


so anyway i called the cops and they said they'd check it out :/

its a nice neighbourhood but these new guys who moved in are ugh.... well the parents seem nice and fit in its just her daughters boyfriend... looks like he's straight outta trailer park gangster ghetto; im not even sure if it has anything to do with him


cops just came they took a look around the street, guess they were looking for a casing

took a statement and then left

they kept asking if i was sure about the car i saw and if i actually saw a gun

then asked if there was any issues with me and my family oO

felt weird almost accusing

Real guns don't sound like they do in TV shows and Movies. ie loud bangs. In fact if a gun went off near the average person they probably wouldn't realize it was a gun, unless they actually see something after the fact.

guess im just starting to get fed up so this is kind of a rant

So i just got back home and my neighbours were at the front of their house chattering away in secret? they quieted up when we got home anyhow turns out there were 2 police cars that blocked off the street and were in their place for over an hour and arrested the bf

what do cops really mean when they say they will check it out?
Like drive around the area 5 mins later? Not like they will find anything.
