The wired ones are unfortunaly the best... Because they have better sound quality and require less noise for the mic to activate. While the wireless ones, you have to speak louder.

I got the Madden Motorola headset, basically looks like the headsets that coaches in the NFL wear. It's a bit more expensive than the standard 360 wired one, but it's got good sound quality since it's built like a DJ headset but on 1 ear and the mic is even more sensitive.

The Madden one I suggested went out of production, but they're still kicking around probably. Have a look around, maybe eBay might have them. Formal name for it is the Moto X205.

Yeah but stereo > mono unless all you play is madden and other sports games.

True, but I never really found any game that I can use stereo for. I always use my TV speakers.
