Yellow is hard to paint/ match color? I heard yellow is hard to paint? Someone keyed my car (just the passenger side door). How hard is it to re-paint and match perfectly? The story is I went to get it repaint and the result is not good. You can tell obviously that the color is darker than the original. The shop is nice enough to refund me all the money. Please recommend me a good shop. thx. how's Bismark in richmond? |
The fading is common in both yellow and red, My dad's speed yellow porsche was easy, but he only has 40,000 km on his 993... I'm sure if they guarantee their work just go for it :) We took it to advantage collision near where AJR used to be, and they did a good job on matching the bodykit for us :) |
doesn't matter what color it is, if your original paint was faded, it's gonna be hard to mix a faded paint color. Some experienced painter will tell you that they will blend in the color by overspraying, but eventually, I think it comes down to how good and experienced the painter is. My bro is a body man and he can tell me hours of stories about how he paint a car. |
Lol... my 91 red prelude is faded like a bee-otch |

Common you guys:haha: Even my Del Sol started to fade, and I manage to recover most of the paint on it. The only thing that couldnt be recovered was the trunk, it's going pink on me:thumbsup: which isnt a good thing!:( |
