Dude, just buy it. You know you want it.

Lets list the liabilities on your bank account if this were done:
1.)The fact that you are considering taking a loan to pay for this car means that you will be paying the bank interest on the loan over the term period.
2.) In the meanwhile, the vehicle itself is on a lease, so that when it expires you would have to further shell out the buy out differential.
3.) The parts would fetch some value if sold piece by piece, but then again, you may encounter difficulty selling certain pieces or fetching the value you aimed to.
4.) In several years' time, the vehicle's market value would have dropped significantly - almost certainly equal if not more than the cost of the parts if you sold them piece by piece.

Lets not forget that you're still paying interest to the bank on the initial loan.

Now lets think about how it benefits you as an asset:
Getting pussy, which if you already are, is negligible.

When you're ballin, you get ballin' parts! Body kits such as Veilside can cost as much, or even more. $2000 for a high-quality wing is normal. Just like an LV bag would prob cost 50x the price of a bag you can buy from Zellers.

Here is the quote from craigslist: " For sale is my 2005 GPW on Red/Black Honda S2000 Power House Amuse GT1
$45000 OBO willing to negotiate with serious buyers.
OR
$15000 and you can take over the lease
"

Let me get this straight, So you can buy the car full out with 45000$ and it will cancel out the lease term??

kumbo1 08-08-2009 11:46 AM

So if some idiot takes over the lease of this ugly ass piece of garbage, he will be on the hook for paying for the reconditioning to factory spec of the vehicle. HAhAH...I pity the fool that takes over the lease.

rk604 08-08-2009 12:23 PM

JDMStyo 08-08-2009 02:44 PM

When his lease expires and he has to return the car is he planning on removing all those mods? Haha I guess he will be stuck buying it out.

he's obviously buying out. the only reason why he leased it was to get tax breaks.

Skyliner 08-09-2009 12:07 PM
