program to put together panoramic photos?

is there such a thing? i've got about 5 photos at fairly high resolutions i took and i would like to turn them into 1 long pano picture

also, can anyone recomend a place to get a picture like this printed out? id like it to be fairly big, perhaps like 4 feet long by maybe a foot tall? how much am i looking at to print somthing like that?

if u have photoshop, use the "photomerge" feature under file>automate>photomerge.

also to get a picture that big printed will cost a high price, u'll have to call around and ask if they can print pictures that big cause not everyone has the equipment to print larger than normal pics.

im looking to give the picture as a gift, so quality could be sacraficed somewhat, its just gonna be hanging in a cabin and there will most likely be multiple people pitching in on it

any ideas of places capable of printing such pictures?

How big is the final image going to be? If it's going to be very big, try going to the pro labs like The Lab or G. King.

PS CS3 can do it.

Even the basic PhotoStich program that comes with Canon cameras does a really good job. I was quite surprised.
