Anyone recognize this street? It's in Gastown, not sure when it was taken. Pretty cool piece of tattoo history right there :thumbsup:

Not that I know of. It came up in a tattoo forum, I noticed that it was related to Vancouver so I posted it here

thats how he got started doing tattoo's and someone wanted some designs on a shirt and thats how the clothing line started.

Hah I doubt anyone who wears those shirts realizes he started in Vancouver. He didn't start using the name "Ed Hardy" until later. That's kind of why I found this pic so interesting.

Oops horrible wording. What I meant was I'm not entirely convinced that that Tattoo shop is a Ed Hardy shop.

It is. Well technically it was an Ed Talbot shop, as he was known then.
