Downgrading from Vista to XP on SATA w/o floppy

Hey guys,

I'm trying to downgrade from Vista to XP for my mom's new Acer computer. I've tried to slipstream Acer's SATA RAID drivers into the chinese XP install disc using nlite and following these instructions...

...but I still get the BSOD. Anyone have any idea what else I can do? Is there better instructions out there? Thanks.

Like I said in which I think was your thread.. Some acer desktops cannot support XP. Ive had 1 acer desktop with vista come in and the guy wanted XP no matter how much it would cost.. Unfortunatly only a new system would help because no drivers supported the xp, only vista... When we tried to push it anyways we would get the bsod... If you want a XP system best bet is a whitebox not a prebuilt unless you know it has xp drivers to support.

^ Ya, it was my thread. I checked acers website and it actually has XP home and pro drivers on their website. I'll try calling them. Thanks.
