JL audio 12w3v2-d2 - what amp?

I just picked up one JL audio 12w3v2-d2 with a sealed box, was wondering what you pros would recommend for making it sound as nice as it should?

Amp budget around $300 or so?.... head unit is a Mitsubishi lancer 08 factory deck.. yeah didn't get the Rockford package, not my fault :P

Any advice would be awesome! thanks.

depends what your into, sq or spl.. you can wire that thing into 4 ohms or 1 ohm so get an amp that can meet (or even exceed) the RMS rating on that sub for 4ohms or 1ohm configurations

Rockford stereo sucks anyways!

For a sealed box, I would recommend at least 400 watts for that sub. An amp that does 400 watts at 4 or one ohm would be ideal
