^'cept there be no black ppl in richmond :haha:

JSALES 08-13-2009 09:38 PM

sick cars but i think their overdoing the matte black

q0192837465 08-14-2009 08:17 AM

I'd say I'm jealous of those who parents bought them their exotic. On the other hand, the ones who work hard for their car, I'm not jealous at all. Face it, a good wife sets u ahead 10 years, a rich dad sets u ahead 50 years.

Guess I can see what SRautogroup really stands for. People with money and absolutely zero taste in cars. After getting cut off by one of their "taxi" cars a merc suv with giant wheel gap on time attack rims is the epitome of bad taste.

ilvtofu 08-14-2009 10:34 AM

^lol that ml came into the bmw store two days ago when i went in for a check up
I like the way it looks on the outside, but the owner put a fatass enzo 1:12 model on the dashboard... fucken idiot, and it was an ugly one too!
The hood has a nice touch of matte black and a red line on the hood, I like :)

It's an older guy i believe possibly brown? i overheard him talking about buying an X6 or something

TalonTurbo 08-14-2009 12:23 PM

those rides are sick

Hondaracer 08-14-2009 04:35 PM

is that black merc just vinyl or a paint job?

the_rickster 08-14-2009 05:01 PM

i live down the street from SR's new showroom, and i must say, these cars are fucking jaw dropping in person... and i live amongst porsche, lamborghini, aston martin & bentley dealership, so i DO see these kind of automobiles every day, so i do agree that seeing R8s, Lamorghinis etc has kind of lost its appeal, most of them are orange or black or white or whatever, but these are flat black, and although it might be '2004' from a car enthusiasts perspective, having looked at pictures of them every day since then, seeing one on the street amongst everything else is quite fascinating.

TalonTurbo 08-14-2009 05:14 PM

+1

I don't think the replies really justify how amazing these exotics are, nor is it the right crowd that will appreciate it.

Wrong crowd. Different taste. Totally different level.

Yes that crowd would be a darth vader convention. More accurately a crowd that appreciates big $ cars but have no idea what real modfications are so they stick with bodywork and easy mods that dont affect the performance at all. Ie. dumb bitches that will go oooh aaah and riceboys
Thankfully people on rs actually know stuff about cars nowadays who woulda figured!

bananana 08-14-2009 06:05 PM

Or it could be the fact that when you spend $300k+ on your car, it already comes with all the performance and luxury you need. Obviously, RS is more catered to people who drive modified sub-30k cars who would never understand.

"haters hate then let em hate and watch the money pile up"

:P

Death2Theft 08-14-2009 06:25 PM

Definately not.
1. those people know how to make money
2. Just becausee they are able to pick the highest model out of a catalog doesn't mean they know squat about cars.
3. Hardest combo to find is someone who can actually drive those cars properly.

Personally i'd sooner rock a gallardo sent to underground rather than a stock murci or even a 670

everyone is entitled to their opinion, and full respects.

but seriously, this is out of context:

just appreciate the cars for what they are - clean, modified exotics and luxury vehicles.

no need for the hate!

bananana 08-14-2009 09:52 PM

It doesnt matter that they know, or dont know about their cars. Its their money and they can do with it as they please. Theres a reason you drive a xB and they drive exotics, you cant be so ignorant as to make assumptions about the owners, obviously you are just another jealous hater.

Also, no one cars about what you would 'rock', because that would obviously never happen with the kind of attitude you have.

i love haters

Death2Theft 08-15-2009 12:03 AM

I guess if you can appreciate nice clean hondas with purely "cosmetic" mods it's the same kinda crowd just higher end.

Benz_05TSX 08-15-2009 02:42 AM

So baller...seen those cars in person before. If I know anything about cars and I can afford one of them, I certainly won't bring it to SR to mod it.

How come the owners dress in black too?? To match the cars, or...GANGZTA!!!

ilvtofu 08-15-2009 08:24 AM

^didn't it say it was some black event or black tie event? I don't rmbr go check the website :D

ok, even though i think the cars are fucking sweet, i gotta admit... dressing up and hanging around in some POS parking lot is kinda lame.

if they wanted to do a black tie event, why didn't they do it right?

Benz_05TSX 08-15-2009 11:28 AM

^ It's not some POS parking lot man...that lot is GAAAAAANNNNNNGGGGGSTA!!!! That lot right there worth more than y0 house, and y0 mama's house!!

ilvtofu 08-15-2009 12:03 PM

^not the cars, the actual location, They shoulda made a real VIP style event, their meet has less class than an RS Meet :D

its just a wrap. the car was originally black. that girgio telesto lp640 coupe is going to get wrapped matte black too from what I heard.

MDMA 08-15-2009 01:00 PM

^ thats retarted, i wonder how many coats of cut polish u would have to do after removing the vinyl wrap, i can imagine the original paint getting fucked over cuz of the glue, for a car like that its probably better to order a flat black finish or w/e from the dealer

MonkeyBiz 08-15-2009 03:05 PM

It's amazing the amount of hate you guys have in you. Simply stunning.
