How to NOT scratch up lugs

Hai Guiz,

I thought this would be the appropriate section for this..
For those with aftermarket lugs, how do you go about removing and installing them WITHOUT scratching the shit outta them?

I've read that some people cover them with a plastic bag, some use painters tape, others use plastic lined sockets?

Do these methods actually work?
If I'm spending $200+ on lugs, I sure as hell dont want to be scratching them

Go to GriotsGarage.com and order their socket liners.

Thought I'd update for anyone intersted. A plastic bag works quite well at taking some of the force off the lugs
