FS: 2009 Subaru WRX STI, Dark Grey Metallic

Selling the best car I have owned ever :(

I purchased this car in December, I had to wait for it, and I had to fight for it. I basically have one of the first 09's in B.C or even canada for that matter.

As of today the car sits at 13,000kms. It has been taken care of perfectly, only synthetic oils used and only 94 octane has entered the engine.

I dont need to explain every detail, you know the car, you know the history, you know the legend. This car comes up in allmost any discussion in the automotive industry...."sti" this "sti" that...and yes its all that :)

This beast has never seen the track or dragstrip, sure it should but I had yet to take it there. The car produces 305hp from the factory, but with the help of a cobb accesport and a perrin tune it makes around 340-350 now. Also the car was fitted with a custom exhaust(yes its really custom no one else has it) to truly bring out the sound this boxster motor is know for.

The car has all its warranty, it has had zero issues, and does 0-60 in 4.5 secs

What you get with it extra:

*4 rota wheels+new snow tires
*Subaru roof rack system
*Yakima snowboard/ski carriers
*Rear cargo liner
*Subaru all weather mats
*GPS

Picture time!

When I purchased the car I had to quickly make it winter ready

Then summer came back

The car is for sale for $42,500(as of sept 15!) with everything. Serious buyers and offers will only be entertained. I am not looking for any trades. If you want to test drive a deposit must be put down.

You can contact me at 778-847-9480, or PM me.

Thanks for looking!

wow oh snap! sexy!

A new one is 39995 + taxes. Which im sure you can negotiate a bit.

How much were the extras you added? B/c seems like I will be just paying for those extras compared to buying a brand spanking new one.

I know you only pay one tax on private sales ,

Thanks

nope I couldnt negotiate anything because there were none, so it was first come first serve, I allmost lost the car 2 times because I didnt have a deposit. They had only one coming that month too so there was no way of bargaining a car that had lined up buyers. Also the price for the car was not 39,995 like on the subaru canada website. It was 41,995 and it was that at all of them in B.C.

The the cost of the extras:

Set or snow rims and tires-$1200
Subaru rook rack system-$450
Yakima fatcat 6 system-$350 with locks
Rear Cargo Liner-$250
Subaru all weather mats-$60
GPS-$300

total-$2600 in extras

then there is the cobb accessport $800 total with tuneing maps, then the exhaust which was $300

So almost $3800 in upgrades and extras since I bought 8 months ago....and....the car also comes with car replacement coverage through subaru. I bought three years of it, if anything happens in means of damage or theft I get a brand new model of the STI for that year :)

so this is how I am justifying the price I am selling it for, In all honesty I would negotiate for a serious buyer but thats about it.

Thanks, it was also supposed to be listed 45,500 not 46,500 sorry :(

yeah he's right, i was looking at STI's in Vernon and they weren't $39 999... either way these cars are worth twice that in my opinion, if you dont believe me go to www.kenblockracing.com and watch his gymkhana edits, yes i know he doesn't drive a stock STI but i can guarantee that those videos will make you want to buy this car!

akelly907 08-15-2009 11:22 PM

these cars are so sick...only problem is that they are pricey...GLWS...hopefully it sells

LMParkour 08-16-2009 11:43 PM

cant sell a car without a opinion from everyone haha

I may of been bent over some but I was their to experience it all, I know what happend and it was hard to obtain this car.

the replacement insurance is through subaru I have the paperwork, its not through ICBC.

nice car but with the mods wont you have warranty issues. new cars suck that way any mods void parts or the entire new vehicle warranty depending on the manufacturer.

nothing is voided in the warranty with these supporting mods

don't believe everything they say.

He is right.

STI's have been VERY hard to find for the last 6 months.

My friend bought a white premium, and Kelowna subaru had to get it from Subaru Canada.. it was supposed to be their "show/demo" car.

REplay66 08-17-2009 12:41 PM

sti's really hold their value, 2007's are goin for 35k, if they are 40k new, thats as good as an investment gets for a car. Gl with sale

sexyaccord 08-17-2009 06:45 PM

sounds good.
why you selling again?

akelly907 08-18-2009 08:49 AM

why is everyone bashing this....its a subaru...its an sti for god sakes...if your not going to buy it or not interested in it then dont post...we all know that it is higher than market value....can you blame him...the market sucks right now..lets all just accept that and move on....my suggestion to you man is to keep it until the market gets better...you bought a nice car that holds its value for a long time...keep it..GLWS though if you are actually going to try and sell it...

LMParkour 08-19-2009 07:35 AM

ya I will try and sell it for the next while, I considered selling it to so I could open up a oppurtunity in life.

Thanks :)

orgasm_donor 08-19-2009 10:11 PM

Jesus Christ I spent 10 minutes trimming all the bullshit out of this thread. Let the man sell his car. If you have a problem with the price you can PM the guy or press the back button.

Any other price bickering or flaming or general shit will get you 24 points and/or a ban permanently from the buy and sell.

I think you bought this insurance from a private insurance company, it's not straight from Sub. You can transfer it to your new car that you by. I just transferred mine about 3 weeks ago. If you can trade it to the new owner, even more incentive for the buyer!

Awesome ride :) Love the snow pictures. Free bump lol
