now this time, auto/manual is there a difference between engine spec? the last gen they separated a little

Surprised SER isnt that many on the street, i always been a fan and thought Mazdaspeed 3 is best bang for the buck under $30 grand, now if SER is $23-24g fuck thats one hell of a deal. Since mazda 3 2.3L (last gen) or new gen 2.5L will run u about $24-26g before taxes fully loaded

The SER on the other hand has nearly 40hp/40 torque more than MAzda 3, thats hella amazing

SE-R is a great car for the price. other than the massive recalls they had in the previous versions, i think the new ones are all ironed out now. unfortunately, they don't fair very well when it comes to shoot-outs, according to magazine tests of course...so that type of coverage would not be too good for an uninformed consumer (ie: take it for a grain of salt).

price is pretty good these days as well as i just helped a friend get one for just over $26G's OTD.

I believe the mazda is still made in Japan however, which could fetch more money compared to the north american made SE-R.

Yeah as far as I know the new SE-Rs are pretty solid. I havent had any problems with mine.

I think the only drawback of the SE-R is the CVT transmission. Its not made for speed, so really its just a sporty economy car lol

But yeah I totally agree, most magazines dont seem to be too fond of the new SE-R/Spec-v models

SER ONLY comes in CVT or also come in regular transmission


i really do not like CVT at all, test drove friends mini with CVT, it felt.....kinda like camery hybrid, similar feeling.

Yeah SE-R only comes with the CVT, really the only drawback of the car

umm first of all, please learn english

second of all, the G35's were not weak, yes adon's was the best one, but a stock G is better then half the cars in that meet

mind i ask what do you drive?
