How many local white EVO 8/9's?
 

I'm shopping for an Evo down south and want to get an idea on how many white ones there are local already. I really like the white, but could also settle for a blue or titanium one...

I've seen at least two white Evos... one mainly stock and one has no wing, a carbon trunk and some pretty poked wheels (maybe CE28n's?)..

I've seen a few white evo IX in richmond. Honestly white is always the first color to be played out especially in Vancouver.

white is right...

titanium is sexy! but yes there were at least 2 white evo viii at todays meet.

I saw one last winter in Surrey, white, stock body, I think black wheels and a 2" exhaust.

wow u sure u want white?? that blue is really nice! and possibly more rare to see around here?

i also like the yellow for these (or is that only the oz racing edition that comes in yellow and not the evo??)

The owner just got this car last month I believe, so it must have been another evo.

I really like the white... white cars are just perfect. Looks good, easy to take care of paint wise, hides paint chips, goes with tons of wheel choices and keeps you cool in the summer.

The blue is damn sexy though I agree... and easier to find in stock form in the 05+ year (ACD is a must). Apparently the white ones are fairly sought after which I can see why.

The white evo9 I believe belongs to a guy named Ernest

I like EB the Blue color but be aware! the Evo 9 and 8 color is abit different. The Evo 8 Blue is a bit baby blueish like in the picture above but the evo 9 Blue same name blue but its a bit darker like the Monte Carlo Blue of the s2000

I believe 2005 above Evo all have ACD which is the Tarmac, gravel and snow traction as for the ACD sadly the north american Evo the ACD Pump is located in the front where the intake is so most JDM aftermarket intake cannot be installed because its blocked out. JDM EVO ACD Pump are located at the back of the trunk! hope that helps a bit.

Basically Evo 9 and 8 difference is the front bumper, and the engine for the 9 is MIVEC
and then the 9 has 3 model RS GSR and MR. MR difference is the Aluminum roof top some interior peices 6 gear and the Voltex generator. GSR is 5 speed but if you want to mod your car to go over 400whp i suggest you buy a GSR because the 5 speed tranny is tougher than the 6 speed tranny for the evo so no modification is needed for the tranny.
Basically its more durable.

So far, white evo 8/9 I've seen with BC plates are:

1. AJR Evo 9 in the picture above

2. The plate that says "PUR EVO" with a carbon trunk and hood (believe its a 8)

3. "CPT SLO" which was also at the meet yesterday (believe its a 8)

4. A evo 8 driven by a douchebag that cuts people off like mad. (according to a spotted/rant thread somewhere here, I've never actually seen it driving, sometimes see it parked at RC)

I saw the CPT SLW evo at my work a few days ago (pacyam bmw) I saw the carbon trunk evo and the bone stock one with regular plates.

I am only going to go for an 8 since I can't afford a 9 and I don't really want mivec. I imported my last car (RX7) and understand the procedure but it was over 15 years old so I didn't have to deal with RIV.

Most likely a GSR. Right now I'm crossed b/w two cars... the EVO is winning right now. The other is a 04 WRX.

anyways i got this from the states with a friend who works as a broker and importer...

find the right car and try to get all the inspection and document to the boarder via 3 days and then just drive it up easy!

there is one white one too on craiglist is for sale sometime ago

I saw a modded white one in Richmond yesterday on Westminster. Did a double take as you don't see them too often. Looks sooooo much better than the EvoX IMO.
