anyone shop out there that will stretch tires? i need to mount a pair of tires and they need to be stretched any local shops? i called advance motors no one is picking up |
I had 245/35's mounted on 10" rim at Big O tires right on Kingsway few blocks past Joyce towards downtown, fast, VERY CHEAP, I'm talking like between $20 and $30 for two wheels. Best part... no scratches anywhere, just a lot of grease all over u gon' have to wash off after. and oh yea they also included balancing! highly recommend you go there instead of some shop who'll charge you 50-100 bucks for the same result. http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...e/IMG_0165.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...e/IMG_0168.jpg |
Damn, and i thought my 275/30 was stretched alot on a 10.5. Id be afraid of breaking the bead if that tire pressure dropped below 25psi! Kal tire should be able to do stretched tires. Most of it is just experience of the installer and the equipment. |
A+ for big o tires on hastings guy knows his shit place looks ghetto though lol |
alot of shops wont do the stretch because of liability issues... but then again, cash jobs leave no paper trails back to them!!! :D lol |
