STOLEN!!!!! (Black) 1993 CIVIC SI COUPE LISENCE # 844 BHF

STOLEN!!!!! (Black) 1993 CIVIC SI COUPE LISENCE # 844 BHF

Car was stolen on front drive way of 110 and 161A st Fraser heights in Surrey. Around 1:00 – 2:30am of the morning August 17, 2009 this morning.

There are 15” MOMO Wheels and a broken right rear TAILLIGHT and a EXHUAST leak and COW seat covers, so it’s not hard to miss it. It sounds like a muscle car with the leak in the exhaust system. My wife heard it but it was to late the already lefted and stole the car by the time my wife got to the door, If you live around me or heard anything or saw anything suspicious please contact me. I had no gas in the car when they stole the 1993 civic si coupe (Black) so they couldn’t went far. So hopefully it might be in the area. If you have any information feel free to call me or call the Surrey RCMP. Thanks!

You can reach me @ 778 387 5887 or 778 394 0588
Constable Joe Lau @ 778 593-3174
Please state the file number underneath to the constable
File # 09-102386

Please be in the look out for it. I was just going to air care this week and fix the exhaust leak. Can't miss it with those rims and cow seat covers, broken right rear tail light and exhaust leak which makes it so loud.

Hope you guys can help me out much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks bro i just purchased it from a friend and was going to fix the problems on the car for aircare too. Wen were going to tranfer ownership this week after aircare, and i decided to left it infront of the driveway and then my wife heard some loud car like muscle car, thinking it was our tenants in our basement who just moved and was moving things into downstairs late night around that same time. They also have a muscle car in the driveway as well. But my wife was to late it was already gone. =( You can't miss it cow cover seat from the previous owner. The car is really loud with the exhaust leak. Oh btw at the moment it's auto. Whoever finds it or see's it Beer or liqs on me.=) Just name your posion lol...

Thanks again guys for your help much appreciated.
I hope i'll find it. The constable who helped me turned out to be a old acquaintances back in the day. He's now a rookie RCMP. So hopefully someone spots it. Remember my offer still stands lol FREE Booze for anyone who finds it.=) Thanks guys for the support.

I'll keep an eye and ear out in the Guildford/Whalley area. Although, the ear might not be so good since there are hundreds of other cars that should sound similar.

My eyes are out in BBY (north mostly) for you!

Sorry to hear that man!

ugh i would have thought cow seat covers would have made a good theft deterrent :lol

i will keep an eye out as well. normally i would say finding a civic in the GVRD would be like looking for a needle in a haystack but this one has enough distinguishing features to pick it out of the crowd...

just a suggestion: you mention that it had no gas. that would mean the thief may have gone to the nearest gas station to fuel up. maybe check your local stations to see if anyone on duty around the time of the theft had seen the car come in?

question to other RS members: what is the procedure for this if we do see the car on the road (ie. not ditched by the side of the road)? do i call 911? tail it until it stops? i know from calling police directly in the past usually involves either voice mail or getting put on hold :(

911 or CrimeStoppers, it's a stolen vehicle, so whoever is driving either stole it, or is in possession of stolen property.

Good call on the gas stations, start from the one nearest your house and work outwards asking them if they saw your car or wouldn't mind letting you see the surveillance tapes.
