you still planning on changing up the rims?

silk 08-21-2009 09:47 AM

6 & 7 are mula

!Yaminashi 08-21-2009 09:52 AM

What rims are you getting next? I think these rims work really well with your car

G-spec 08-21-2009 10:55 AM

yea the 5 spoke design is very clean lookin and you can't go wrong with it if you get the right set. These rims are nice looking and though they werent that cheap, the brand name and more importantly the quality isn't there, so a custom set of 3 piece wheels to do the car justice is whats needed.

I've already ordered my new set, it's a custom sized set so it'll be a while fore i see them, and even longer before they go on the car, I won't be putting them on until next summer, since I'll be on the eastcoast with the car through the winter.... I'll post pics in my members journal section once they're on.

RE-Jo 08-21-2009 11:41 AM

Those pictures are absolutely gorgeous... Best of anything I've seen on the entire internet :O
3rd pic is actually my favourite, because the colours all go together so well (especially the white in the car and blue in the windows and the rack + oil can?). It almost look like a fake picture, like some Need for Speed rendering!

Gumby 08-21-2009 01:51 PM

Wow these pics are awesome. It almost looks CGI!

dereklandon 08-21-2009 02:30 PM

damn that's a beautiful G.
love the finish.

acurael 08-23-2009 07:00 PM

What type of body kit is that? Nice car for sure...like the grill and front bumper.

Question to owner - how hard was it to match the pearl white?

thanks...looking to get a G myself soon

3seriesBeeM 08-23-2009 07:07 PM

lol u said 5 and 6 no?

ya no kidding on the softbox! wat did u use rikaro? the wall as bounce?

J____ 08-23-2009 11:41 PM

now lets see you shoot a black car at nite rikaro :D

G-spec 08-24-2009 01:02 AM

AcuraEL the bumper is custom made from a shop out in California, a small amount was made, around 50 for the SoCal market but I was lucky enough to get one shipped out here, I was the first one in Canada to have it... and the spoiler is a special order from Japan, took a few months for it to arrive, but I'm a sucker for always trying to be unique with the car so to me the wait and price is worth it.

so yea the pieces on the car are some of the most popular within the G community, but are pretty hard to get, definitely worth it though if you can get your hands on them... give http://g35driver.com/forums/ a shot and browse around a bit to get ideas about the car when you get it, it's a huge site wit a lot of info.

G-spec 08-24-2009 01:03 AM

and yea as for all the lighting questions, I gotta say Rikaro was a madman running around constantly repositioning the lights, he's an expert when it comes to lighting as you can see from the pics. I told him before the shoot my main concern was lighting and how it's gonna play off the paint, since it's a satin finish it's really hard to capture how the paint actually is when seen up close and personal, and he took that into account and did the paint job the justice it deserves. He even let me help him in one of the pictures by holding a strobe over the car, but for the most part I just stayed out of his way, :p
