Laptop won't turn on... where to take it in? So my laptop crapped out on my yesterday.. it got really hot when watching a video and turned off to prevent damage.. this has happened often in the past, for some reason it always gets hot when i watch videos.. anyways now it wont turn back on at all.. i can hold the power button down all day and nothing.. what is a good place to take it in? im not sure if NCIX is the right place for this.. what do you think? the damn thing is only a year and a half old! |
if you bought it from NCIX you can call them up and ask them. They'll take care of you better than people you don't know on a forum. |

you'll get better answers in the computer forum |
control-alt-delete, windows key - pause/break, then alt-f4, and it should boot up no problem! You're welcome! |

Honestly with notebooks, Its not the brand you buy but the quality in the series... When you see one of those $499 for a C2D in the adds. Those are basically the 1 year lasting notebooks... Quality is built like shit and people treat them like crap soo they dont last very long... When buying a notebook you get what you pay for... If you ever notice, lots of computer stores do not carry the same brands as the retail stores(FS,BB). Mostly because those cheap models are only for the larger retailers... Where you would notice at the smaller retailers that their notebooks are a little more $$$ because they are better quality notebooks... |
try anitech from what i hear, its a great place |
