The Whitebox Studios is located in a business complex at the corner of bridgeport Road and Shell Road. The studio is an independent unit with its own private entrances. The studio is available for rentals, with or without photographer. Space can also be used for casting calls, workshops, or seminars.

The City of Richmond has needed a rental photography studio for quite sometime; especially when you factor in the often unpredictable weather. Blitzgear Inc. has stepped up to allow photographers of all skill levels to rent its commercial studio to compose, capture and create their works of art.

its just wicked seeing such a cool white studio!

and i love that wall thing, where it curves up, so u dont have any edges show!

all they needed was soft puffy white walls, and i would feel right in at a mental institution!

Hehe...most studios will have that curved wall. :)

How is Blitzgear involved?

i assume its a joint venture. blitzgear does a lot of graphic designs and marketing.

as good as a photo can be, it still needs that part of editting when it comes to making it onto a magazine cover, or use for advertising.

The way I understand it, he owns both Blitzgear and Whitebox.

the facility is really cool, besides the actual photo shooting part, there is even a makeup use area, change room, meeting room, even a shower (was surprised thinking it was like a utility room or something behind the door, but its actually a full on shower!

once i get my car together, im gonna see if they can do a photoshoot for me, or at least teach me how to shoot my car =D
