What tool to use to cut Plastic specifically, the back of the speaker basket in my 95 civic. also, it seems that my car uses 6.5" for the front , would i be able to fit a 5.25?? |
a box cutter swiss army knife leatherman? and you u made a bracket it will fit. |
really a knife? i was thinking maybe a dremel tool or something... a bracket? i was gonna bolt it down by 1 or two screws... :| - bad idea? |
glue it down? that would work, and if you have a sawzall that would prob work the best actually |
Get a Dremel Multimax. Instead of a needle tool, it uses a fan-type blade that oscillates really quickly and cuts through thick plastic quick. Home Depot sells them. |
|
no bandsaw? cutoff disc on an angle grinder |
Metal blade (obviously made of steel, but the one used for sawing metal, not wood) from Home Depot. |
Or................................ a hacksaw. |
just go nuts and punch a whole through it |
|
scissors? exacto naife? |

Plan A - the stupid speaker fits without any mods Plan B - rent a dremel tool n try a DIY Plan C - take it over to soundgood n call it a day .. |
grab a knife heat it up. it'll cut right through that basket like butter. i've done this way for all the civics i've worked on. |
