I was so close to buying a SS but when I had a chance to sit in one it felt and looked "cheap". I know 5 guys that work longshore that have or are getting the SS.

Also the interior on the SS has very dated technology, and lacks a lot of what you'd expect in a 50k american car..

I had a black Camaro SS driving behind me before...couldn't tell what it was at first, until he changed lanes and drove beside me. Very cool looking car!

Yup, Challenger interior is beyond awful but the SRT-8 interior is decent but no where nice for a $50,000+ car.

wow you got to drive an srt8 challenger? bastards at the dealership weren't even going to let me sit in their showroom model, let along test drive it without a full deposit 
as for the design of the camaro interior looking old... isn't that the whole point (ie. retro)?

Nah it looks more dated than retro to me, the few guages/steering wheel/dash pods are a nice touch but the head unit and overall lack of style isn't modern, well i guess that means its retro, lol i just confused myself...
