the z31 has a decent size engine bay and the rb25 (or 26 with a rb25 gearbox for rwd purposes) fits quite well. I am a massive rb fan but seriously the vg30det conversion is the easiest and best fit.

then again i have seen a z31 with the vh45 conversion if u want the capacity. But thats alot more money involved and not easy to source or fit.

It was sent over from a shop that closed down locally.

They attempted it, the job got butchered, and now getting fixed here.

For the cost, he could've had this AND had alot of money to spare!

Just finishing up my rb25/s13 swap, and can't wait for it to be done. The hardest part is the anticipation

RB20, other than the sound (which isnt justification enough for me) is a completely useless swap. Any RB series motor for that matter, unless you really require the block strength to run stupid boost is useless in most cars. The only RB motors I would ever swap would be the 25 (preferably Neo6) or the 26, and that, again, if I was looking for high horsepower numbers.

Still an SR die hard though, throw a T28 on and a simple boost up and its got plenty of kick, plus its lighter than the stupid RB20 and shouldn't give you any clearance issues.
RB20s have amazing potential, supporting mods and bigger turbo can get you quite far.. mine is over 400hp.. Tommy at RG did the work..
So all in all RB20 would be a sick swap.
