From my experience, I used Prep H on my chest tattoo and it healed very smoothly. Don't pick at the scabs and let it come off naturally. I didn't use Prep H on my tattoo I got on my ribs and it feels likes it's a little be raised. My tattoo artist also put saran wrap after I was done and you are supposed to take it off about one hour after you are done. The skin needs to "breathe".
