I think. Why were you thinking of doing it? |

I think it is legal as long as it is covered by a opaque cover. |

When uncovered by an opaque cover they are unauthiorized lights and illegal. When covered with an opaque cover they are off road lights, and legal. Div 4 of the regs. |

Okay. and i already said im not going to do it. |
": exhibiting opacity : blocking the passage of radiant energy and especially light" you know what the definition of a cover is. Simple tralslation...if, when you turn the lights on you can see ANY LIGHT AT ALL..the cover is NOT opaque. If you can NOT see any light at all, then you have an opaque cover and are legal. |

I know what you meant, just clearing it up for those who would argue that their body kit hides the actual bulb/tube. |
As you did, I also was clearing it up for those who would argue that their body kit hides the actual bulb/tube. It could, if it went all the way to the ground and perfectly sealed with every varying road surface >:) ...and monkeys could fly out of my butt...yahh!/ Sorry, watched Waynes World and overdosed on Stan Mikata's Donuts. |
its illegal... and they look awful... |
Isn't it VW that has the new TV spot for an underglower who is embarassed enough to turn them out? |
