I can't read japanese but what is that layer under the cheese and lettuce? It's definitely not the base of the bun because you can clearly see it.

I had this in Japan.. Mega Teriyaki Burger. Chicken patties, teriyaki sauce, and mayo. Messy goodness!
I'll probably be eating a lot of burgers for my next Japan trip. I am trying to be as ghetto as possible this time around.
