You wont get the best coilovers for the g with that budget. If you mean what are the best you can get for that price range Id suggest Stance, if they even make g coilovers.

For $1000~1300 there are very few coilovers you can choose as most of the coilovers cost more than that.
Or you can see if you can find a used set.

+1 that

you can try eibach. They have a entry level coilover that cost just a little over 1 grand. I ll get that over BC and ksport anyday.

Stance also has a entry level coilover in that price range.

I'm of the same opinion. Mine are more than comfortable for day to day driving and when I go to the track and they're tightened up, they keep my car planted quite effectively.

The ease of height adjustability is a plus as well.

Yeah, i've heard good things about bc racing. you can slam your car and the ride is pretty good. i'm probably gonna get some bc racing ones.

They seem to be more recommended over megan and tanabe coilovers.

nicoclub.com did a great review on the build quality and overall design of bc racing coils...

just remeber you get what you pay for..there is no way a $1000 coilover system can even compare with a 3-4 grand coilover system...

most coilovers below $1000 are the same, and most people have never ridden in a car with a decent set of coils so they really have no comparison...

your infinity should be riding on some nice spring+shocks fyi

if you are tucking 20's or some decent tire and are not going to the track you are just wasting your money.....

hearing mix reviews...some ppl say coils arent that great

well at least for entry level, $1000-1500

they are uni-design? meaning they dont actually engineer it for each specific car, just slap on a rough estimate spec and throw it on every car and call it a day?

hence tein SS, many ppl had to rebuild their or after using it for awhile it started to make noise etc, my friends SS has to get it rebuild as well

for that price range is it better just to go with spring and shocks combo?

koni yellow or sth?

yellow is around $900

For the G, it seems that Tokico's are the shock of choice - for some reason, the G community seems to like them better than the Konis (and I really like Konis). If you want a mild lowering and spring rate increase, you could always use 350Z springs too.
