Monitor has light green flickering pixels all over I have a dual monitor setup. And my left monitor is fine. But my right monitor seems to have flickering pixels all over the screen. I don't think this is exactly a dead pixel issue, or maybe some form of it...? The pixels are literally spread out randomly all over my monitor. All the pixels are light green in colour. I set my desktop wallpaper to plain black - gray - white, and while they are in the solid colour background, all the pixels don't show up. Only when I have a normal picture it seems to show up. So these flashing pixels don't seem to be consistent either. Which makes me think it's not a dead pixel. I've gone through some various tests. While viewing some other pictures (making them full screen size) The pixels do flash on some parts of the pictures. I figured this is probably because the light green can only be seen in certain colours, while being camoflagued in other colours in the picture. So I tested this theory out. I noticed in one of my pictures, a certain brown area was getting flickered. So I went in photoshop, "eye dropper" that colour, and set it as a big wallpaper using that colour. The flickering did not show up in this new picture... so this is so bizarre.... |
its not a dead pixel as it still has some light...its called hot pixel... |
