I know they will argue about how FWD doesn't need downforce in the rear and blah blah blah. But they didn't get what is a show car with wings vs rustbox rwd with wings !
Next, people will argue how fast the car have to go before it's useful, then people will tell you it's useless to have CF wings on FWD, then how useless it's to have 18's on Honda. Then, they will show you how fast their car goes, blah blah blah...

In conclusion, we show all go back in our own cave and ride bicycle !

Good comments about the wing, is it a track car? That's what the article says.
Depending on the track...it's not useless to have 18in rims. Less sidewall flex...but depends on the track and conditions. Prices of 18inch tires can be cheaper than those of 17inch too tires too.

Congrats on the feature!

Mugen EvOlutioN 09-10-2009 07:10 AM

really???

^

i never seen 18" cheaper than 17"

:eek::confused:

Yes, it's a car that you can drive on a track. With those T1R brakes, I think it'll last about 3 laps. I think you read too much on the internet about "less sidewall flex" theory. And your right, I always find those big Taiwanese donuts are cheaper than these tiny Japanese donuts. :D

AJR always puts out some nice cars in the mags

hkRicer 09-15-2009 11:17 AM

nice car i wonder how much money he dumped into the build

Lowered_Klass 09-15-2009 04:59 PM

These types of responces are the reasons I'm beginning to hate the import scene.

Why can't we be happy for a local guy who got his car in a decent mag? Regardless whether or not you like it, it's still pretty cool, and I guarantee anyone of us would be stoked to have our car in a magazine.

But sadly, we cannot. We have to rip into the guy about his gay wing, and how his graphics are ugly, and the parts he used aren't that great... seriously, who gives a fuck? He's not modding YOUR car, so who cares?

Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion, but for fuck's sake, let's turn the hate down a notch.

Because we can, and I say that wing is ugly, and not a damn thing anyone can do about it.

Congrats on the feature!

Please explain your theory on a 18inch tire having less sidewall flex vs 17's, or 16's.

You've mis-read my post. I was reffering to the posts previous to mine. Go back and read through them. I'm not calling his wing 'gay', but other people sure hate it, and aren't affraid to let loose their feelings. Personally I don't care one way or antoher about the wing, but the car as a whole looks pretty good.
