FS: 300whp Turbo Escort Since my initial post was deleted - here's another more thorough FS thread. PM me with your email for pictures or any questions. This has been my pride and joy for over 5 years. I have built this car up to what it is today from the ground up. The car is very reliable - you can drive it to the track and back home and everything functional in the car is new or almost new. The car makes around 280-300whp at 18-20psi. It weighs around 2500lbs. The turbo and motor are capable of in excess of 350whp On low boost(15 psi) it traps over 108Mph on street tires. It suits an experienced driver best and no test pilots or time wasters will be entertained. The modifications/build are listed below. Some highlights include a full forged motor, LSD transmission, fully tuned standalone. The parts chosen are OEM or better to retain reliability and driveability. For those of you that don't know the motor in this vehicle is a DOHC BP - the same as that used in Miatas. The car passes aircare and has done so for the last two years without issues without removing ANY parts from it. This can truly be a weekend warrior and a grocery getter. It is best suited for someone who will take it to the track and around corners The car has its exterior blemishes. The paint is not in great shape as is expected of an 18 year old car. It was never meant to be a show car, it was always meant to perform and be driven. Chassis has 244 000km on it. The brand new engine, clutch, transmission have 10 000 km on them. There is nothing broken or wrong with the car and it can be driven to the track or mall the moment you pick it up. $7000 OBO and of course there is some flexibility but serious inquiries only For pictures please PM me or see this ad: http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...356004820.html Parts list: Engine: Fully built and balanced engine 10000km ago. 190psi compression in all cylinders - H beam forged rods - Wiseco 9:1 pistons ceramic coated and PC9 sideskirt coated by Swain - Clevite bearings - Flying Miata gasket set - Head with ported exhaust, Turbo cams - ARP head and main bearing studs - External oil cooler with -8AN lines - Port matched exhaust and intake manifolds VJ23 ball bearing turbo with Mazda GTR (AWD homologation vehicle) exhaust manifold.
