Very good job! Out of curiousity, did you try doing less passes of M105 on orange and step down to M205 on a white pad?

Whoaa great job man! Definitely love those half complete shows... really shows a nice comparison with the quality of your work..

Is the 50/50 shots after the 3-4 passes of M105 or have you also used the M205 as well?

BTW, nice work! I love seeing those 50/50 correction shots!

Actually the 50/50's are after 105 only. It really does finish down nice. I just couldnt leave it like that without adding the extra clarity that comes with a true finishing polish.

Ah, nice! I would have thought something that aggressive would have left a bit of micro marring. Looks great - I might have to give that product a try next time I do my car. :)

It's a bit finicky and quick to flash off and dry. but once you get the hang of it

Very nice job. Loving the 105 eh? I was using it today on my brothers new GTI ( dont ask ) with A GI wool pad (again, don't ask) and could almost get it to finish down LSP ready. Car looks awesome. Owner must have been ecstatic. Great job again.

I do really dig the 105. I think the non-deminishing abrasives are a bit more forgiving then diminishing. That being said I really want to try some Menzerna product.

Cant wait to see a write up on the GTI

I'm really digging the 105 too. It finishes down extremely well and 205 works well at clearing up any remaining haze.

what does that barebones wheel well product do exactly ? thanks

nonyo 10-24-2009 09:44 PM

Nice job. I'm also impressed with how you got the photos to be so clear.

604_Snooze 10-25-2009 12:30 AM

I think the CG barebone makes the wheel well look darker, just for appearance.
