blue screen that keeps restarting my computer, how do I fix it ?

here's what i've been getting, so yesterday I was just surfing the net and this blue screen keeps popping up and restarting my computer.

I tried reformating my computer and it didn't do the trick either, does anyone know how I can fix this ?

thanks

i am having this problem too. I am no expert, but if you reformated and reinstall the windows and problem persists, then maybe there is hardware problem somewhere along the mobo, GPU... power supply?

What I did was: I remove all the ram and PCI sound card and video card. and reinstall them in properly.

I only had this problem ever since i moved to new place.
Blue screen or frozen desktop screen still occurs, but less frequently since i reinstall some hardwares. But I dont know what else to do?

mine is a laptop, so I dunno if it's that easy to remove the ram and PCI card or the video card

take out the ram first one stick at a time
or boot with ultimate bootcd and start diagnosing

Ah... the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL screen...

Yeah, usually it's a hardware issue.

probably ram problems
try using memtest

.Renn.Sport 09-15-2009 12:37 AM

most likely is bad ram
