what about 205/40/17?

alex.w *// 09-19-2009 06:18 PM

^ nope can't cuz the sidewall is too small = too much wheel gap

solo_ryder 09-19-2009 09:20 PM

what u drive? consider 215 40 17, will give you abit more sidewall.

That tire size u want is kinda tricky to find

alex.w *// 09-19-2009 10:00 PM

^ i know its tricky....

on 04 acura el. stock is 195 60 15

205 40 17, wayy too much wheel gap.
205 50 17 good, but don't really want to raise the car 2cm

215's looks too wide imo

NODES2K 09-19-2009 11:30 PM

I got 215's if u want them

There are 2 there.

Too wide? Thats not to bad, what size rim? if its 7-8" wide 215 is good.

Anyways, I know that mini coopers come with that profile stock, not sure if that will help you but keep an eye out on any mini forums maybe

Actually the stock 17" Mini rim is 205/45 - some owners have 215/35 R18 tires

I know they are, his OG thread title was 205 45 17's. I guess he changed his mind, look a few posts up he said that 215s were to wide? IDK
