!Aznboi128 09-18-2009 10:31 PM

There is no concrete value for facebook as they are not a public company. It is estimated that they are worth roughly $15 billion but no one is sure.

tiger_handheld 09-19-2009 09:22 AM

i think mr. buffet owns some part of GE and Coke as well.
awesome , and fail safe stocks for the newbie...

in a few decades, all CSR will be outsourced unless ppl are willing to accept shit wages forever

IBM sold their computer hardware division a while back to Lenovo, a Chinese company. Their hard drive division is sold to Hitachi.

I'd guess top 100. They're a pretty niche market. Hell, late 90's they almost went bankrupt. They didn't cuz Mr. Gates and Microsoft bailed them out with a 150 million dollar stock purchase. With that money, Apple released the iPod and the rest was history. I'm not sure if Microsoft still owns a part of Apple but it would sure suck for these Apple fanbois that scream fuck Microsoft if they still do.

Microsoft had no choice but to bail Apple out. If Apple went tits up, where would IBM and the rest of the industry get their ideas from?:haha:

Tim Hortons can be hardly classified as an international company. The companies listed has become so innate in the consumers' mind that they have become synonymous with the product or service they provide. For example, when one thinks of fast food, Mcdonalds will come to mind. When one thinks of search engine, Google should be tops. I'm a little surprised Starbucks didn't make the list.

Revscene should be in the Top 100 Most valuable Brands/websites in Canada. It's on par with Facebook. Heck, I'm so addicted to RevScene that I think we should start having a Mobile version of it. :lol
