$15 for a cheap lesson learned. Be thankful it wasn't more

well besides the exhaust none yet, 3rd gear syncro isn't particularly smooth, clutch makes it feel like you're in the wrong gear when starting on a steep hill, one of the rear shocks isn't so good, sway bar end links aren't good, tension rods aren't good, and possible oil leak?

I have a bad feeling the car will be in a shop for a couple of weeks to fix it all up, looking at quite a bit of $ here, but oh well it still works so can't complain to much, still a fun car nonetheless

Buy same ones from fs or walmart, and then pull a switcharoo and return the broken ones.

Sad to hear about that. You should be more caution when buying from craigslist. It's a good lesson for you for a cheap price. I'm sure you wont make that mistake again.

Maybe this will work. They are Microsoft branded. Thing is mine is Arcade and doesn't come with components...so if they ask for a serial or anything I wouldn't know what to say.

And maybe somebody here knows the guy. His name is Dennis and he's vietnamese lol. I know it's vague but PM me if it rings a bell and we can see if the phone number matches.

getalove 09-20-2009 01:02 AM

ilvtofu 09-20-2009 06:57 AM

Doesn't that place on main across VW have HDMI/component cables for really cheap?
Haven't been there in a while and the place is run by white people now I heard, but I'd pay them a visit and check out their prices first, I got my aux cables for my car from them for around $2 :)
