tow trucks at UBC? how much is the fine for parking at a tow away zone at UBC? btw, are there even any tow trucks at night(1am)? I mean, who would care where you leave your car at 1am or 2am in the morning? |
There is no tow trucks until someone reports it. |
do those ubc security guys work at 2am in the morning? if i park my car at a tow zone or a no parking zone for 1-2hrs at 2am in the morning, what are my consequences? |
Hm.. In for answers... I park on res a couple times a week for sometimes 8+ hours a day, in the staff parking lot... but off to the side on the gravel haha. My car does stand out a lot and i've never had any problems... |
hahaha.. i was actually thinking about those reserved parking sports behind The Cheeze, more specifically the area between kaiser, ceme, and mcld. I know those parking sports are for the Cheeze society members, but who really checks at 2am in the morning? |
1) there's no such thing as a "Cheeze society"; those slots are reserved for profs and other people who buy passes to them. The only people I ever see using those spots regularly are old people and Bob, a 6th year in Fizz. 2) afaik last checks are around 6pm 3) As for consequences, I'm really not sure anymore what with UBC appealing the court decision that had previously rendered them unable to hand out tickets.... I've used those spots last year from like 9pm-2am when studying for finals in civil design studio or processed cheeze and never got a ticket, but the one time I was there from 5-9pm I got a ticket timestamped 6:09. But again that was last year and after all these court hearings and appeals the protocol may have changed. |
parking in random places on campus will never get you towed/ticketed. |
