for everything else, i tend to turn to a radio station in the uk. sounds odd, but the stuff that they play (thats good) is out MONTHS before its out on the beat
for example, down by jay sean was playing on radio 1 sometime in march if i recall correctly

english - usually visit thebeat website and check out the top songs. get some from friends, etc. tho i havent been keeping up to date
chinese - usually friends or girlfriend. havent been keeping up to date because I've been busy.

I use what.cd
I download whatever is in the top 10 for the week. Works well if you have a really broad music taste and you get stuff as soon as it comes out.
