There is a new device called the telephone which should come in handy....call the stores and check their inventory/reserve/special order them!

When do you need the mushrooms?

Most likely, no one store will have that much mushrooms, and you will be paying a premium for them.

There is produce row in Vancouver, and you can always call them up and order the mushrooms from them. They come in 10 lbs boxes so 1 box might be enough, or 2 boxes to be safe.

You know 200 button mushrooms is not that many. Most stores will have it. I think one small brown bag at stores can hold at least 50 or so.

And when was the last time you went out and bought mushrooms, and not the magic kind?

200 button mushrooms is a lot, especially if he wants good ones and not the left over ones that sit on the store shelves.

Superstore generally has a shit load of mushrooms in the back near closing at the Metrotown one. They're always in a fairly low rectangular box, and should have a couple hundred at least in each crate.

Just ask any of the produce guys.
