UBC overnight student hostel 'Commuter Student Hostel' now open for UBC students Costs $30 a night Andrea Macpherson VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) | Saturday, September 26th, 2009 10:22 am Bookmark VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - UBC students who cram until the wee hours of the morning and then need to drive to campus for class can now take advantage of 'Commuter Student Hostel.' Jannice Robinson with Student Housing says the hostel is available Sunday to Thursday. "It provides them the opportunity to be able to participate in late-night extra-curricular activities. If they're in a club, group or association or there's an event on campus they want to participate in and they are able to do that and not necessarily have to endure a long commute home." The UBC Commuter Hostel will cost students $30 a night. |
