Bell TV dumb ass question Ok so here's a retarded question about Bell Sat TV. Person A - Used to have Bell Service but is with Shaw now but his Bell Satellite is still mounted outside the house Person B - Does subscribe to Bell and brings over one of their activated receivers to Person A's house and plugs it in. Will that receiver work at Person A's house. My friend claims that although Person A does not have Bell anymore, the fact that he still has the Satellite there the receiver from Person B would work at Person A's house? Does anybody happen to know? Yea it's a retarded question and yes I could call Bell and ask but I rather not go through waiting in a queue. Thanks! |
the way I understand it a dish is just a dish, it collects the signals and feeds them down the cable to the box, and the box has to sort it out from there. It should be the box that has the access codes and is enabled/disabled by Bell. |
buy an nf or kbox receiver for that...you will not regret it |

Yea it works. In fact, they mention something similar to this on there website, as in you can take your receiver with you on the RV and watch satellite tv on the go. |
