My mom did it for both me and my brother cause we used to have our chinese name on all our documents, she just went to add our english names so i guess it's sorta the same thing
This was like, 7-8 years ago though but if i remember correctly she went to a lawyer and it was like 100$ or something process fee? It was really simple apparently. But im not sure about now, it's been a few years afterall

That's exactly what I want to do. Lol.

On the Name Change form it says I need a signature of a lawyer or notary public. So I guess I need to find a lawyer for his signature? But thats kinda pricey for a damn signature, $100?!

Get a notary public. Cheaper than a lawyer.

depends on where you live...

if you live in the city of vancouver, then you have to go to the police station near chinatown to get your fingerprints done for criminal check. if you live in richmond and other places i think you can get it done at rcmp anywhere??

and walk into a notary public anywhere to get them to photocopy your ID and sign it, for 20 bucks i think?

once everything is done, wait for 6 weeks and you'll get a piece of brown/orange certificate in the mail

He's the man who's name you'd love to touch
But you mustn't touch!
His name sounds good in your ear
But when you say it, you mustn't fear!
'Cause his name can be said by anyone!

That is the first hit you get. Next time maybe do some research first.

What makes you think I didn't already look at that website already?

Next time maybe you shouldn't post at all if you don't have anything HELPFUL to say.
