What's a good wall mount for 52" LCD Just looking on the futureshop website. There seems to be quite a variety of mounts and they range significantly in price. I have a 52" sharp LCD and would like to mount it on the wall in my condo. I don't need to have any type of tilting or pivoting feature. I also don't need speaker holders. Just a basic sturdy wall mount will be fine for me. Can anyone make any suggestions? Are those Init units any good? How about the Sanus ones? Any feedback or recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks guys! |

Thanks but do you know anything locally? |
Check Costco. |
i have seen mounts at costco. they range from 120 to 150 depending on what features you want... tilt and what not. |
check out the "init" wallmounts from bestbuy. i have the tilting mount, and it retails for $13X, but cost to bestbuy is only $2X. see if u can haggle the price down to 2 digits lol. |
If you don't want to go the Monoprice route, try some of these local guys that sell mounts on Craigslist. They're selling a 42"- 65" Economy Plasma/LCD TV Wall Mount Bracket (Blk) for $46.50. Seems pretty decent since Monoprice is probably selling that exact same mount for $26 USD. Probably cheaper than your BB or FS options out there. |
hire an illegal immigrant to stand there and hold it for you. |

The one I got from Monoprice was pretty decent and all the screws were intact. (they even had extra screws in case you lost or stripped some) It's held up pretty well in the year that I've had it. I go down to the US pretty regularly so it wasn't a big deal for me to pick one up from the US, but I can see it being a hassle for some people. $50 at LD is a pretty good deal too. Maybe OP should check out LD too. I think I've seen Visions sells some for pretty decent prices if the OP is looking for other local places. |
